An enthusiastic worker looking to train as a Systems & Bench Engineer that will learn to work with Communication Systems VHF/UHF conventional, MPT1327 & Digital Communication Systems.

Person Specification

Desired Experience:

  • Desire to work in a systems design or development engineering role, preferably in VHF/UHF communications.
  • Demonstrable capability of acting as leader on one or more successful bids/projects from initial enquiry to award or from order to final acceptance.
  • Basic understanding of component level fault finding of mobile & handportable equipment.
  • Basic understanding of system design and custom programming of equipment.
  • Experience in customer facing roles.
  • Ability to work swiftly and efficiently under pressure.

  • Ability to work swiftly & efficiently under occasional pressure


Responsibilities will include:

  • Booking in stock to the hire database and accounting software package.
  • Taking service and installation calls.
  • Packaging goods to be sent out via our courier supplier.
  • Helping with field installations where and when necessary.
  • Helping with the maintenance of the hire fleet ensuring an up to date stock list.
  • Monitoring of the reception counter.
  • Stock monitoring and ordering as and when needed, to ensure stock never runs out.

Position: Administrator/Junior Sales Officer (Permanent) 

Start date: ASAP 

We are now looking for a full-time Administrator/Junior Sales person to join and be part of our fantastic team.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with current and potential client queries in a friendly and always timely manner. You will have to be ability to handle the administration that comes with this including the management of spreadsheets and customer files.

You will also be communicating with current and potential clients through social media. You should have experience of posting and managing social media accounts.

You will be responsible for processing customer quotations and invoices, you’ll make sure that our stock information is up to date as well as maintain records and an accurate filing system.

We want you to be part of the team and bring your ideas to the table as this is a very collaborative environment. When needed it’s all hands-on deck and this is why adaptability and personality are so important to us!

Experience/knowledge
